Unveiling progressive solutions and advanced technology, the Security and Integrate Expo 2024 transformed the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney into a bustling hub of next-generation innovations where leaders from the security and audiovisual integration industries gathered from August 21 to 23.  

Expo Centric, renowned for crafting immersive brand experiences, proudly supported 11 clients at this event by ensuring their standout presence with eye-catching exhibition stands. 

Our clients—Geutebrück GmbH, Permaconn, Patriot Systems, Convergint, Axis Communications, Lightware, AV Supply Group, Altronics, Panasonic Connect, Network Optix, and Axon—effectively showcased their technological prowess through expertly designed trade show booths. With our team’s creative vision, each company solidified their influence across various sectors.

The Event

Attracting over 9,000 attendees, the joint expo marked another milestone in its history as Australia’s premier event for both the security and audiovisual integration industries. It served as a platform where the brightest minds in related fields, including security professionals, AV integrators, and corporate end-users, converged to share insights and showcase advancements under one roof. 

Intending to drive the Australian market forward, the event continues to be the yearly stage for collaboration and innovation in associated sectors. 

The Clients

Panasonic Connect: Transformative Tech and Interactive Brilliance  

Focusing on creating secure and efficient environments through advanced audiovisual solutions, Panasonic Connect echoed with distinction at the expo with a 9x9m booth draped in sleek black with striking blue accents.  

Its exhibition space was meticulously segmented into the following distinct areas, each designed to highlight the brand’s cutting-edge solutions to enhance high-stakes security settings: 

  • Igloo Vision – an immersive meeting space where floor-to-ceiling projections and sophisticated software created a fully interactive environment 
  • Video Mixer Demo – showcased Panasonic Connect’s advanced AI technology 
  • FMP Media Player and Edge Blend Projection demos – displayed the brand’s prowess in projection technology with innovative setups designed to demonstrate equipment versatility  


Additional sections featured static projectors, collaboration solutions, and broadcast and Pro AV displays, all thoughtfully arranged to ensure an engaging and informative experience.

Network Optix: Pioneering Intelligent Video Solutions  

At the forefront of innovation was the dazzling 9x6m stand of Network Optix, strategically positioned at the ICC’s main entrance to capitalise on the flow of foot traffic. Its commanding presence, sealing the brand’s recognition as a global powerhouse in video software development, was immediately recognisable by the booth’s futuristic design, highlighted by a rectangular double-sided hanging banner that encased the booth from above. 

The stand’s sophisticated dark blue-and-black colour scheme, accented with dramatic blue neon lighting, created a high-tech ambience that perfectly mirrored the company’s industry expertise. The space also had a private meeting room and various demonstration areas, including three front demo pods, a side interactive station, and a main developer wall for in-depth product presentations.  

The Network Optix stand effectively showcased the brand’s state-of-the-art technology and industry leadership, with Expo Centric ensuring the space allowed visitors to experience the future of video solutions firsthand.

Axis Communications: A Masterclass in Tech Innovation Style  

Demonstrating its capability beyond physical security solutions, Axis Communications established its presence at the event as a trailblazing network technology solutions provider with an astounding 12x9m stand. The yellow-and-white booth immediately made a bold impression with its triangular hanging banner and distinctive space layout, breaking away from traditional linear placements with elements positioned at distinct slants to add a dynamic flow to the display. 

Within the stand, individual pods were dedicated to the company’s Video Management Software and Technology Integration partners, each equipped with a 43″ TV and a custom oak counter. Further enhancing the booth’s appeal were two modular product display structures featuring Axis’ latest video surveillance, access control, and intelligent analytics solutions. The central tech bar was also a standout feature with its evenly distributed TV screens and software solutions. 

Infusing a sense of welcome, the space also had a corner seating area with a curved grey bench surrounded by ottomans and accented with an L-shaped plant box. A custom coffee counter and an ice cream cart further enhanced the visitor experience, balancing the booth’s high-tech vibe with a touch of hospitality.

Convergint: Fusion of Security Solutions and Cosy Elegance

Departing from the usual corporate aesthetics, Convergint created a significant presence with its expansive 12x9m booth that elegantly combined high-tech innovation with a warm, inviting atmosphere. The stand showed off a calming blue theme accented by natural timbers and greys, moving beyond the conventional business visual approach a leader in tech integration and management would typically exhibit. 

Going into the booth, visitors had the chance to learn more about the brand’s expertise through the four freestanding wall structures equipped with TV screens and custom oak benchtops lining the longer sides of the stand. These pods were dedicated to Convergint’s audiovisual and security solution partners—Genetec, Everbridge, Vape Defense, ION UPS System, Motorola, Axis Communications, Zenitel, and Userful.  

Another standout feature of the booth was its central lounge area, a distinct comfortable retreat in the middle of the stand featuring various seating arrangements, a coffee counter, a digital display, and two additional pods for partners Lenel S2 and Magos. 

Geutebrück GmbH: Bold Elegance Meets Advanced Tech 

Geutebrück GmbH’s 6x3m peninsula stand seamlessly blended sophistication with innovative technology. Dominated by an edgy black-and-grey colour scheme, the booth was accentuated by plush charcoal carpet tiles and a dramatic neon yellow GEUTEBRÜCK logo that arched gracefully from the back wall to the side support, creating an appealing diagonal flow. 

With three high-resolution digital screens on the backwall and two additional screens on a centrally placed demo blade, visitors were immediately drawn into the world of Geutebrück’s intelligent and user-friendly video security software solutions. To make room for more meaningful discussions, an oak-topped reception counter and a seating area were strategically placed within the stand.     

Expo Centric’s design ensured every stand element, from the structured layout to the coordinated digital displays, conveyed Geutebrück’s dedication to protecting people and assets through reliable technology. 

Permaconn: Sleek Geometry, Smart Technology 

Permaconn’s 6x6m stand was a striking showcase of technological excellence with its futuristic aesthetic, combining an elegant black-and-white palette with green accents, geometric shapes, sharp lines, and a mix of matte and glossy finishes. 

The booth featured an encompassing rigged hanging banner, along with a prominent back wall displaying the brand’s logo and three digital screens. A freestanding side wall structure dedicated to RAPIDlink served as another information hub, with two seating areas adjacent to it providing a space for in-depth discussions. 

These thoughtfully designed setups effectively showcased Permaconn’s latest advancements, including the revolutionary PM54—a 3-in-1 connectivity solution combining a 4G router, Wi-Fi hotspot, and alarm communicator. 

Patriot Systems: A Blend of Style and Security 

Highlighting their alarm monitoring and video verification expertise, Patriot Systems exhibited their offerings in an edgy 6x3m black-and-white stand punctuated by lime green accents and made prominent with branding the venue column. 

The booth’s layout was designed to be both inviting and functional. A prominent hanging banner drew attention from across the exhibition floor, while an L-shaped wall structure served as a content panel for Patriot’s alarm and CCTV monitoring software. The space also featured digital displays and a seating area to encourage visitor interaction. 

Lightware: Redefining Simplicity with Precision 

Lightware’s stand challenged the limitations of space with bold elements that made a statement. Its 9x3m red-and-white booth, a perfect blend of simplicity and impact, effectively showcased the brand’s expertise in precision video, audio, and USB signal management solutions.  

Its circular hanging banner made the display noticeable from any angle, while its expansive back wall served as the booth’s focal point and guide to divide the space into four demo sections that fostered in-depth product presentation and discussion. 

The booth’s well-lit, vibrant, and clean design highlighted Lightware’s commitment to no-nonsense solutions for high-end applications, making their presence at the expo memorable and compelling.

AV Supply Group: Delivering Clear AV Product Focus 

With its commitment to providing high-quality AV products to the Australasian market, AV Supply Group participated in the expo with an efficiently designed 6x3m L-shaped stand. Its main back wall was divided into four distinct brand presentations—Vaddio, Luxul, Chief, and Nureva—while its side partition highlighted MaxHub products.  

At the heart of the booth were two displays—the Nexus 21 Lift and MaxHub Smart Lectern—perfectly highlighting and tying together the brand’s comprehensive range of AV solutions. 

Altronics: Celebrating Redback’s 50-Year Milestone in the Booth’s Grid Layout 

Altronics caught the eye with its Redback-branded stand, a dynamic 6x6m space blending simple aesthetics with functional design. The booth’s 3x1m back wall doubled as walk-in storage, while scattered throughout the space were counters for product displays, allowing visitors to learn more about the brand’s diverse range of home automation systems and commercial AV solutions. 

Expo Centric ensured the stand’s grid-like layout created a professional yet inviting atmosphere, effectively highlighting the 50 years of Redback products enhancing business productivity and operations.
