Staff Profiles: Stephen Broholm

Meet Stephen!

Every project needs a steady hand, and Stephen is Expo Centric’s dedicated account manager who is a master of smooth client experience. Acting as the all-important bridge between clients and the team, he is known for keeping things seamless and stress-free by handling each project with care and precision. For him, client satisfaction is more than just a goal but a mission, and he takes pride in delivering quality results with a rewarding and enjoyable process.

The best part of Stephen’s role? Seeing everything come together on show day. He relishes those moments when clients get excited witnessing their vision become a reality. Ultimately, Stephen appreciates being an integral part of Expo Centric, where he’s empowered to make a real impact on each project with a team he trusts and a manager who encourages his leadership and independence.

When it comes to work accomplishments, I’m most proud of is

Delivering the Vatech ‘V’ lightbox as a standout statement piece. The unique design and intricate manufacturing process required careful attention, and seeing it come to life on time with exceptional results was incredibly rewarding.

When it comes to productivity, my go-to hack is

Keeping my email inbox and outbox super organised, so I always know what needs follow-up. I apply the same system to my computer’s download folder—anything completed is filed or removed accordingly.

The most interesting project or task I completed here was

Diehl Defence as I’m fascinated by the technological advances developed by military-based industries.

The one piece of advice I’d give to an exhibit or event manager is that

We aren’t saving lives but only making them easier for others. Keep cool and don’t let stress rule. .

My secret talent is

Eating all Filipino snacks (except the ones with liver).

The travel hack that changed my life is

To arrive minutes before boarding the flight to skip the check-in queue (jokes, this is a bad habit of mine now)

I secretly long to be

An Elvis impersonator who owns and flies a P-51 Warbird serenading the skies.

My favourite quote or motto is

“We have two lives, and the second begins when we realise we only have one. -Confucious

The most adventurous thing I’ve ever done was…

Do laps around Sydney Harbour 500ft above the Harbour Bridge and Opera House while standing on the open loading bay door of an RAAF Hercules Aircraft, after convincing the then Chief of the Australian Defence Force that it was a good idea.

I am

An old annoying fart with the greatest sense of humour…ever!
