It was a proud moment to be recognised and awarded winner of the Best Reconfigurable Exhibit at the annual Portable/Modular Exhibit Awards held in January 2024 by EXHIBITOR Magazine.
EXHIBITOR Magazine’s editor Emily Olson said the awards were designed to recognise the leaders in the emerging category of portable and modular displays, driven by a growing trend for people turning to modular systems and portable exhibits to take advantage of their relatively low-cost, versatility, and ease of installation.
“Our winners represent what any designer working in the portable, modular, and system industry can aspire to. Our list of 2024 winners offer a wealth of inspiration.
Expo Centric were delighted to be recognised for the TAFE NSW portable and modular display build. The design was inspired by the brief from TAFE NSW to create a reconfigurable stand for a series of New South Wales statewide events for the Higher School Certificate Career’s Expo held in late 2023.
TAFE NSW wanted a display that would make an impact and attract a new generation of students to their stand at the shows and position themselves as a tech driven education provider.
In taking on the brief, Expo Centric embarked on designing a modular system using Aluvision frames to provide maximum flexibility. The stand incorporated touchscreen kiosks and a large magic mirror designed for interactive engagement. TAFE NSW chose high-gloss black surfaces paired with vibrant neon LED strip lighting to create a space that looked modern and sleek.
