Igniting excitement for e-mobility’s endless possibilities, the brand’s 8x14m space was the epitome of advancement and style with its comprehensive display of kick and self-balancing scooters, e-motorbikes, e-bikes, and go-karts that screamed, “Get ready to ride!”
The booth, cleverly crafted by our team at Expo Centric, was an exclusive futuristic showroom at the heart of the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney, where every vehicle sparks an invitation to adventure. From dedicated display zones to a centrally located kiosk that mimicked a product launch podium, each element encouraged attendees to explore the next generation of e-mobility.
We ensured the stand resonated with Segway-Ninebot’s message of eco-friendly innovation and user-friendly design, setting a new standard on how to showcase performance meeting sustainability on the bustling trade show floor.
Challenges
Going into the Sydney International EV Show 2024, Segway-Ninebot aimed to make the most out of its spacious 8x14m area by segmenting it into various showcase zones highlighting its leading e-vehicle lineups.
Aside from product-specific sections, the stand also required a 6x3m oval-shaped branded kiosk positioned in the centre. This platform featured a surrounding steel structure open at the top, designed to support additional product displays visible from all angles within the exhibition space.
The following additional elements were also specified:
- Custom oval-shaped rigged banner, designed to complement the kiosk’s steel surround
- Blade wall with an 82” screen for go-kart activation, featuring a live Mario Kart experience
- Display counters below the 82” screen to house a Nintendo console and chargers
- Reception counter to welcome guests
The Build
As they stepped into the expansive 8x14m stand, visitors were immediately drawn to Segway-Ninebot’s comprehensive e-mobility showcase, with its basalt grey flooring providing a sleek foundation to the whole space and the oval-shaped rigged banner commanding attention from anywhere with its unique shape.
The prominent central kiosk, a branded steel product island, served as the anchor of all the displays within the booth, attracting guests to discover the latest e-scooter models in a polished, showroom-like presentation.
Surrounding this primary exhibit area were exclusive product zones, thoughtfully laid out to guide attendees through various e-mobility experiences.
The stand’s apex points functioned as the premium parking spaces for the brand’s flagship products: the kick and self-balancing scooters gracing the rear centre, while the e-bikes and e-motorbikes adorning the booth’s left and right corners, respectively.
Upgrading the stand’s immersive product showcase was the Go-Kart Pro display that took the guests’ experience up a notch. Here, they hopped on a demo electric go-kart while playing Mario Kart on the vibrant screen setup, enjoying the fun and hands-on interaction while immersing in the world of e-mobility.
Beside it was a display of PowerCube, the brand’s portable battery packs ready for demonstration. This station encouraged attendees to learn more about Segway-Ninebot’s technology and how it can upgrade their next outdoor adventure.
Completing the stand’s showroom features was the exclusive area for commercial units in boxes, where attendees had the chance to preview the products set for distribution.

Oval-Shaped Rigged Banner
The suspended banner’s bold oval design and double-sided branding gave the stand unmatched visibility from any angle and reinforced Segway-Ninebot’s presence at the event. Its precise position above the central kiosk, mirroring its shape, created a striking focal point that made the booth visually cohesive.
Central Kiosk
At the heart of the stand was the central kiosk that elevated Segway-Ninebot’s product exhibits with its sophisticated branded steel surround and polished display platforms. This dynamic area spotlighted the brand’s latest e-scooters known for their lightweight and compact build, making them ideal for urban travel. Each model has a complimentary iPad detailing its specifications, providing attendees with an informative overview.
Go-Kart Pro Display
To blend the fun of gaming with the experience of riding an advanced e-vehicle, Segway-Ninebot allocated a space where visitors could get behind the wheel of its latest go-kart while racing through a Mario Kart game on a Nintendo setup. This interactive area featured a sleek modular wall with a large screen, along with display counters doubling as lockable storage, to immerse attendees in the real-time thrill of the game while on the e-vehicle.
E-Vehicle Displays
Staying true to the goal of turning its expo space into a comprehensive showroom, Segway-Ninebot’s stand highlighted three distinct areas to display its flagship e-vehicles: kick and self-balancing scooters, e-motorbikes, and e-bikes. Each section was designed to maximise product visibility with its minimalist layout, allowing guests to focus on the models’ sleek designs and innovative features.
