About the Show
NeuroAlliance 2026 is the 44th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Australasian Neuroscience Society and the first conference jointly presented with the Australasian Cognitive Neuroscience Society and Biological Psychiatry Australia.
Under the theme “Merging Minds, Advancing Discoveries,” the conference will unite researchers working across neuroscience, psychology, cognitive science and biological psychiatry. The meeting is designed to encourage collaboration between traditionally separate research disciplines and accelerate the translation of brain science into meaningful clinical and community outcomes.
The four-day program will feature plenary presentations, scientific symposia, oral research presentations, data-blitz sessions, posters, panel discussions, workshops, early-career researcher activities and networking functions. Research areas will range from fundamental neuroscience and neurobiology through to cognitive neuroscience, artificial intelligence, neuroengineering, neurological disorders and mental health.
The organisers anticipate approximately 1,000 Australian and international neuroscientists, making it the largest gathering of brain researchers convened in one place in Australasia.
