About the Show
Land Forces is Australia’s largest dedicated land-defence trade event, run biennially by AMDA Foundation as a neutral platform for industry–Defence–government engagement. It has rotated through Adelaide, Brisbane and Melbourne, scaling rapidly as the focal point for Army-led dialogue, procurement programs and sovereign capability showcases.
For the first time, the exposition lands in Perth. WA’s defence push and the state’s support will underpin a strong western presence, with the Australian Army confirmed as a major program partner and the Chief of Army Symposium to run alongside the trade show.
Key Features of the Show
International Industry Exhibition
The core of Land Forces: a multi-hall show floor featuring Australian and global suppliers across vehicles, C4ISR, EW, robotics and uncrewed systems, soldier systems, training/simulation, munitions, sustainment and advanced manufacturing. It is Australia’s largest land-sector exhibition.
Chief of Army Symposium (CAS) & Army-led Activities
The Army leverages Land Forces to convene its flagship program, historically including Army Innovation Day and the Quantum Technology Challenge, drawing uniformed leaders, program owners and innovators into open dialogue.
The Hub — Thought-Leadership Theatre
A curated, open-to-all stage for short talks, panels and announcements that translate strategy into capability, with recent editions running packed multi-day schedules.
Innovation Pitchfest & Awards
AMDA’s awards and rapid-fire pitch sessions spotlight emerging tech and young innovators, with cash prizes and national visibility for finalists. Returning in 2026.
