10 Years of High-Performance Displays
As an automotive business, your bold products are built to make an impact and require adequate space to showcase. They often shine in spacious and dedicated showrooms, but how about when you want to highlight them with pride in major expos around the country?
This is the exact issue Kawasaki faced over a decade ago, back when exhibiting in Australia seemed like an uphill battle for the brand. Unlike companies with smaller products, automotive enterprises deal with unique expo dilemmas that require more than good intentions of creating a visually appealing stand. They demand precision, expertise, and a tailored approach, which we offer here at Expo Centric.
The Roadblocks
- Space Limitations: A striking lineup of head-turning vehicles demands room to breathe, but at expos, space is always at a premium. This poses the main problem of figuring out how to showcase products in a way that feels open, inviting, and uncluttered. The goal is to display products that allow them to stand out without compromising the visitor experience.
- Weight and Load-Bearing Issues: Fleets aren’t like lightweight gadgets that can sit on a shelf. We’re talking about vehicles with serious heft requiring reinforced platforms and structurally sound designs. Aside from that, safety and accessibility should also be considered when designing an exhibition stand for products like these.
Expo Centric: Shifting Expo Gears for Automotive Brands
For the past 10 years, we have been the trusted exhibition stand builder of Kawasaki, a high-profile name in the vehicle industry, to build large-scale custom exhibition stands designed to overcome these challenges. Our strong partnership across the decade, which allowed the brand to successfully participate in major motorsports and marine exhibitions nationwide, is a testament to our excellence in turning expo visions into a reality.
Riding High: Our Partnership with Kawasaki
World Superbikes (WSBK) 2022, 2024-2025
Kawasaki always sees the World Superbikes (WSBK), along with its Championship, as the perfect stage to showcase its latest factory-spec models and fuel its credibility in a prestigious motorsport setting. The brand continuously and consistently wants to prove its competitive edge in a world-class racing environment, both on its racetracks and expo floors, by participating in this event.
Expo Centric’s Winning Formula
For three years, Kawasaki has partnered with our team at Expo Centric to build their bespoke exhibition stands for WSBK. The brand knew keeping things consistent was key, so we aimed for designs echoing its strong identity, one that is already solidified in the automotive industry. This is to make loyal followers feel familiar while leaving an impact on those who only know Kawasaki as a brand name.
With that, we made sure to deliver that seamless, signature brand experience year after year, weaving in the following elements to keep Kawasaki’s presence as consistent and as powerful as their bikes:
- Showcase-Ready Flooring: Displaying large products in expos requires thoughtful consideration to ensure the stand isn’t just a space but an experience. This is what we accomplished for Kawasaki’s 17x6m layout in 2022 to its 15x6m setups in 2024 and 2025. We mapped out distinct zones with non-slip basalt and vinyl flooring, a strong and safe foundation for standout displays that kept everything in place.
- Dedicated Zones for Every Model: Showcasing the brand’s heavy hitters like the Ninja H2R and the full Bimota lineup left no room for chaos. With Kawasaki now acquiring Bimota and supplying its motors and engineering support in 2025, our team ensured each model had its own space to shine. This was especially crucial for Bimota’s presence, as two of its latest models, the KB998 Rimini, which serves as the foundation for the WSBK race bike, and the Tesi H2 Tera, the brand’s first adventure bike powered by a supercharged Kawasaki H2 motor, were flown in specifically for the 2025 event.
- Bold Graphic Walls: Visibility from all angles defines a stand’s prominence. This was our inspiration for strategically placing striking visual panels on the booth’s main corners. Bonus, they doubled as photo walls that gave clients the perfect backdrop and Kawasaki extra marketing muscle.
- The Central Hub: The stand’s centrepiece not only acted as a partition wall but as a main hub of attention and interaction. With a 55″ LED screen playing the live race feed throughout the weekend, this feature also housed the merchandise area that invited visitors to snag cool branded gear for a memorable Kawasaki experience.
Sydney International Boat Show 2024
For a brand known to dominate the land by being the master of motorcycles, Kawasaki wants to show the world that it can conquer marine technology as well with its cutting-edge innovations. This is by participating at the Sydney International Boat Show 2024 and showcasing its impressive lineup of jet skis. The goal is clear: to target a dedicated crowd of watercraft enthusiasts and prove that Kawasaki can make an impact whether on two wheels or the open sea.
Expo Centric’s Winning Formula
To ensure the brand’s exhibition display wasn’t just part of the show but the show, Expo Centric created a stunning 17x8m stand for Kawasaki’s top-tier personal watercraft. Its bold red accents popped against the space’s white theme, making the booth visible from all angles. Our team ensured Kawasaki stood out at the boat show by nailing these key elements:
- Strategic Product Placement: The deliberate arrangement of the brand’s jet-ski lineup allowed maximum impact and easy customer interaction despite the number of models displayed on the stand. Raised timber flooring and wheeled platforms made sure the products were secured, while informational panels gave visitors the lowdown on each vehicle’s features.
- Promotional Elements: Kawasaki wanted its name to echo across the exhibition centre, and we made sure it did with sleek promotional walls and a standout media blade showing discounts, offers, and all the irresistible details about the brand.
- Iconic Branding: Our team wrapped the space in undeniable branding, from the expansive backwall with the logo to the cleverly draped venue column featuring the brand name. Every inch of the stand screamed Kawasaki in the best way possible.
- Semi-Private Sales Area: This zone added a touch of class to the space, giving staff and clients a dedicated space to chat and do business. With the table, chairs, and other essentials for professional conversations, the area was a perfect blend of exclusivity and accessibility.
Australian Motorcycle Festival 2019
With its outdoor setting and hands-on vibe, the Australian Motorcycle Festival is a must-attend event for businesses wanting to show off their products through live demos and test rides. Kawasaki is all for that opportunity: to let visitors experience its innovation in motion, especially through its major lineup of Ninja and KX series back in 2019.
Expo Centric’s Winning Formula
Kawasaki’s 31x15m stand was proof that we can turn any outdoor space into an action-packed showcase. Amid festival buzz and blazing heat, we put the brand’s main big bike series in the spotlight, all displayed prominently with the intention of giving off rugged terrain vibes and high-octane fun. To make sure the stand stole the spotlight, our team focused on these features:
- Prime Front-Row Displays: Kawasaki’s heavy hitters took centre stage right at the front, where everyone could get a close-up of the lineup in all their glory. Each model had an info panel to keep visitors in the know. On the side, a solid ATV lineup rounded out the off-road experience of each guest.
- Tent Stand: Behind the big bikes, we set up a spacious tent for merch, meetings, and smaller models. Our team designed this with a camping setup but with a killer product lineup in mind, so visitors can enjoy the adventure vibe.
Motor Expo 2018
By taking centre stage at this expo, Kawasaki wanted to grab the golden opportunity to engage directly with motorcycle lovers, flaunt its newest models, and prove why the brand is the leader in the motorsport scene. With the show being the home to various showcases, from vintage classics to the latest high-tech marvels, it is the ideal platform for Kawasaki to be a part of such a full-scale presentation in the automotive world that defined the brand’s industry standing.
Expo Centric’s Winning Formula
Kawasaki’s 30x12m showstopper was a perfect example of having a cohesive and strategic parade of motorcycles in the middle of a crowded expo floor. This seamless ensemble had attendees revving with excitement, with everyone having the chance to easily check out each model without missing a beat. Our team at Expo Centric prioritised these elements to make the entire display cohesive and effective:
- Strategic Product Lineup: Kawasaki’s Z900RS Café, Ninja H2R, Ninja ZX-10R, Z650, and Vulcan S ABS were lined up like a dream, each with its own info panel. The brand’s key models had elevated platforms to give visitors a VIP view from all angles.
- Eye-Catching Media Wall: Framing the action was a sleek black media wall with a massive LED screen that lured people in and kept them hooked, improving the overall visibility of the stand.
- Merch Madness Corner: This zone was the cherry on top, offering everything from shirts to accessories for guests to grab and go, the Kawasaki style.
Sydney Motorcycle Show 2015 and 2017
With top-notch media coverage and big crowds, the Sydney Motorcycle Show is the country’s premier event since 1984 for all motorcycle-related showcases. Like its goal in other expos, Kawasaki is dedicated to expanding its reach and continuing to stand out as a top contender in the motorcycle world by exhibiting at this event.
Expo Centric’s Winning Formula
Kawasaki’s 30x12m and 30x10m stands at the 2015 and 2017 shows were prime examples of the brand’s consistency and flair for dominating the expo floor. Our team ensured these expansive spaces weren’t just big but strategically packed with motorcycles and effective branding for Kawasaki to stand out year after year. Here’s how we made it happen:
- Motorcycle Wonderland: We made sure every model had its own space, allowing visitors to get up close and personal with over 50 motorcycles without feeling cramped.
- Standout Visuals: The bold black-and-green backwall and banners on both ends of the stand kept Kawasaki’s name front and centre, making it impossible to miss from any angle.
- Business Corner: For those serious talks, we created a dedicated corner with comfy chairs, a table, and an LED screen to be the perfect space for meaningful connections and business deals.
